Ask me anything #3 – EY
Ask Me Anything: Incorporating your company, with EY
Legal Insight Session #3 is all about founding: which legal form fits your startup, how incorporation actually works, and which mistakes are worth avoiding from day one.
This time, we’re changing the format. After a short expert input, the session opens up into an Ask Me Anything with EY, so most of the time belongs to your questions, not the slides.
The input covers:
· An overview of legal forms (GmbH, UG & co.) and which one fits your stage
· The incorporation process step by step: notary, articles of association, share capital, commercial register
· Founders’ agreements, equity split, and vesting
· Tax and accounting basics for your first year
· Common do’s and don’ts, and what investors will look for later
Bring your own questions. Whether you’re still deciding whether to incorporate or already have a draft of your articles on the table, bring your specific cases and ask the experts directly. You can also submit questions in advance when registering.
Designed for postdocs, researchers, PhD candidates, spin-off teams, and founders who are about to incorporate or are already in the middle of it.
