Overview

Ready to talk to investors?

Maybe you already have a prototype, a patent or a first pilot, and fundraising is on your list for the coming year. The open question is how an investor will see your startup. This edition gives you that answer before your first meeting, not after it.

What two mornings in December give you:

  • Investors from Earlybird and other experts on how VCs assess deep tech, life sciences and climate startups
  • Hands-on work on your own pitch, market and plan, from the first session on
  • Around 40 science founders in the room, all at the same point as you
  • No fee: JUNI covers the full cost, so all you invest is December 8 and 9
Key facts

Everything you need for your calendar. The second morning builds on the first, so please plan to be there for both.

Program details

From science to term sheet.

Here’s what we have planned so far.

*Please note: The agenda is preliminary and may still change as more experts confirm.

December 8

Day 1: From science to venture

See your startup the way an investor does.

  • How VCs look at science startups: the anti-portfolio and 2027 trends
  • Sizing your market: bottom-up, with realistic timelines
  • Workshop: go-to-market and early validation
  • Fireside chat: founders and pivots
  • Lunch and networking

December 9

Day 2: Raising the round

Get your story, your numbers and your terms ready for the room.

  • Your deck and how to reach out to a VC
  • Runway for capital-intensive science
  • Term sheets, cap tables and legal basics
  • Pitch clinics with expert feedback
  • Angels and angel clubs
  • Lunch and networking
