What do early-stage investors really look for?

For our next Investor Insight Session, we’re welcoming Franziska Oschmann from Speedinvest to the JUNI Campus for an open conversation about pre-seed and seed funding and what it takes to raise your first round.

Speedinvest is one of Europe’s most active early-stage VCs, with more than €1 billion under management and teams in Berlin, Vienna, Munich, London, and Paris. Its portfolio includes companies like Bitpanda, GoStudent, and TIER Mobility. Franziska will introduce the fund, how it invests, and what it looks for in founders at the very beginning of their journey.

After a short introduction, the floor is yours. In an open Q&A, you can ask Franziska directly: How early is too early to talk to a VC? What does a convincing pre-seed pitch look like? What makes an investor say yes — and what makes them pass?

The session is aimed at aspiring founders, researchers, PhD candidates, and pre-seed and seed founders — whether you’re still exploring an idea or already preparing your first fundraise.
